Strengthen police–community partnerships
Invest in real-time crime centers, cameras, and neighborhood patrols
Recruit and retain police officers and dispatchers to improve emergency response times
Re-evaluate call-taking procedures involving Crime Stop

Priority 02

Protect Historic Neighborhoods: Advocate for the preservation and protection of our city's historic neighborhoods.
Affordable Housing & Anti-Displacement: Support the development of affordable housing while protecting long-time residents from displacement.
Homeownership Opportunities: Expand opportunities for working families to purchase homes.
Infill & Contextual Housing: Support small-scale infill development initiatives for quality, affordable housing, and make historic development patterns legal throughout the city.
Expand Pre-Approved Housing Programs: Broaden the pre-approved housing program to include casitas, duplexes, and fourplexes that align with local neighborhood contexts.
Streamline Permitting: Simplify the permit process and incorporate modern technology to accelerate approval times for standard permits.

Priority 03

Fix broken roads and deliver long-overdue infrastructure improvements
Develop a comprehensive plan for addressing the unsheltered population
Crack down on illegal dumping and re-evaluate bulk trash pickup services
Invest in sidewalks, bike lanes, and street shade to keep residents safe and mobile
Support small businesses across the district
